I got the basement flood twice in the last 1 month. Called in the same plumber (from Xingtao) twice, and the problem is not completely solved.

Feeling like I have a bomb in my basement which will explode anytime, I started to do the research on yellow pages and city of toronto's website. To my surprise, instead of paying hundreds $$$ to plumbers, the city crew could come to your house FOR FREE.

It is a 24/7 service. Although I have not yet used the service, I hope that this is helpful for the 'lucky' homeowners like me.
