Damn Greyhound! 今天可真够倒霉的。几天前通过Greyhound的网站订的来Rochester的票,USD 40, 也收到了确认邮件。一切顺利。昨天晚上整理来美国的document时，才注意到车票好象有点问题。我定的是1:30PM从Toronto出发的票，可在确认邮件里，行程里居然显示的是1:30AM，马上又上网确认，在Greyhound网站连接上还是显示的1:30PM,而且没有1:30AM的车，所以觉得应该票没有问题，可能是网站信息有误，也没有管它。这可把我害惨了。

星期天(今天）中午11点多从家出发，坐TTC和地铁，12：30PM到的610 Bay Street (Greyhound的出发地）。到了后，把订票的confirmation letter给换票的人看，人家说，根本没有1：30PM的车。这下我傻眼了。这TMD是什么事儿？那个人承认是Greyhound系统的问题，不过说“There's nothing we can do here. Here is the number for Customer Service, you can call them to place complaint". 把我气蒙了。打Customer Service 电话，人家居然周末不上班。

我订票时，仔细确认我订的是1：30PM的车，我收到的邮件显示是1:30AM的车，可人家根本没有1:30的车，无论是AM 还是 PM. TMD 这群混蛋。最后只能坐4：30PM的车。

本来坐1:30PM(或前一班12:15PM)的车，可以在5:45PM到 Rochester，这下可好，坐上了4：30PM的车，要10:10PM到。而且我还要在Toronto Downtown 一个人闲逛4个小时。

打算星期一或星期二找Greyhound投诉。我应该要求有什么补偿？

说实话，灰狗bus还是不错的，很舒服也很smooth.
灰狗在4:30离开Toronto,中间停了几个地点，然后在7：40PM左右到Buffalo海关。我持中国护照，上面有美国10年的签证，也没有遇到什么问题。几个tips:
1. 准备好护照
2. 和officer 说是去美国买车，给他看Bank Draft.
3. 准备零钱。收了我USD6.00的处理费。（不知加拿大公民是不是要交）
4. 洗净手指头（扫描了10个手指头的指纹，不知加拿大公民是不是也一样）
5. 如果到美国住宾馆的话，officer会要宾馆的地址，所以你最后将地址写到纸上

过了海关然后车开到Buffalo车站。在等车里，又有两个Border Patrol 的officer 上车查每个人的证件。问你是哪国人，看护照等。准备好就没问题。

我订的住的地方是East Avenue Inn Downtown. 网上的兄弟推荐过，而且也比附近的便宜。
按照网上找到的Greyhound stop,google 了一下。好象离East Avenue Inn不太远，所以原本准备要从Greyhound bus station 走到East Avenue Inn的。
到Rochester一下车 (10:10PM,挺准时），又看到两个Border Security Patrol Officer站在车站。时间太晚了，不想自己找路了，就拿着打印好的bus station 到 inn 的地图问officer怎么走。

Officer说我打印的地图居然不对。问能不能走到住的Inn,说有1.5mile. Kao. 这大半夜的，天又这么冷，还不知道路，怎么走？没法走。只能打个车。好在因为不远，所以也不贵。

Taxi起步2.5刀。到 Inn花了6刀。给了2刀小费，一共8刀。不过省了时间，也安全快捷，算是值了。

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛East Ave Inn提供 free wireless access, 所以晚上上一会儿网就睡了。睡的还不错，非常安静（可能是没多少人住的缘故？）。

早上起来，洗漱完毕，就又煮碗方便面吃了。9：30AM，check out. 早上饭店值班的人是个四、五十岁的华人woman。人挺nice的。在我等Van Bortel来接的时候，几次问我是不是需要打电话。我说不用。就在那里上网等了。

9:45AM,来了一辆白色Subaru Tribeca. 一想就知道是接我的车来了。提包，问好，上车，走人。Driver是一个50、60左右的老头，人也不错。聊了会儿车，20分钟就到了Dealer.

Dealer 也不太大，不过里面人挺多的。Waiting area有咖啡还有水果。我没什么心思去吃，喝了一瓶水。

接待我的是个中年woman,叫Ruth. 人又Nice,又Professional. 给人的感觉很干练。就是讲解，签字，和交钱。签字前看了一下车（车明显被擦拭过了，很干净）。没什么问题，就签字。然后Karl给简单过一下随车的说明书什么的，就把钥匙一交，准备开车走人了。

有两件事需要说明一下：
1. 我买了Subaru 的Added Security extended service program (6 year/ 60000mile). 由于原车带3 year / 36000mile的 warranty.这个warranty 就是在manufacturer warranty过期后，才起作用的。
关于买不买这个extended service program,不同的人可能有不同的选择。我花了USD1084（税前）买的Gold Plus，按我开车的mileage,我不太可能6年开60000mile,所以相当于多保3年。我觉得值。

注1：按这种Warranty的说明，基本上Gold Plus 的coverage 与Manufacturer Warranty 差不多
注2：我买的是$0 deductible。如果买$50 deductible，就只需要972左右了。
注3：Warranty cover 整个Canada and USA
注4：我只交了New York State 的Sales Tax (8%).

出门右拐，两个红灯后，左转上Route 332，然后上90 West. 90是收费的，从入到出需要大约3.5 USD。 90上有几个Service Area,如果不想赶时间，可以吃些东西。90后接290 North, 然后接190，follow Niagra fall 的sign就可以到Queenston-Lewiston Bridge. (其中一个地方需要交USD1.00）从美国出口车的手续要在Queenston-Lewiston Bridge。只是星期一到五上班。一些document需要Dealer提前72小时发到海关，不过这些Dealer都替你办好了。你需要和Dealer确认一下就行。

出美国的车，一般不需要在美国海关停的。不过我们要办出口手续，就需要在190终点的时候，向左并入一个停车场。然后左转，穿过由加拿大到美国的车流（实际上没什么车流。你实际上在加拿大到美国的车过关时被officer盘问的那些小屋子前横穿的）。穿过后，在一个房子前停下。找一个红色的门进去。出口的办公室在一层，从一蓝色门进入。递上你的材料，等待处理。

注意，我以前提过，你需要在Dealer那里复印一下Title,这里就用上了。Export办公室贴着你需要有一个title 的复印件，他们不提供copy服务，“NO EXCEPTIONS". Dealer没有给我复印件，所以我没有title copy. 还好，那天的Supervisior 还很不错，没有为难我。他帮我copy 了一份。我说我觉得这个很面善，果然没看错。不过，为了避免麻烦，还是在Dealer那里让他们给复印一份为好。

离开美国海关，再横穿加拿大到美国的车流，回到去加拿大的路。过桥后到加拿大海关。和Officer说你要进口车，他会告诉你到哪个房子前停。

进屋办手续，填VEHICLE IMPORT FORM - FORM 1。关于“Manufacture" 及 ”Menufactured on"两项，都可以在车门边的label上找到。交GST。交完后Officer在Form1 上盖章。开车走人。

进入加拿大，交钱（USD3.25? 或CAD 3.xx?)。

开车上QEW，直奔RIV (405 The West Mall, Suite 500, Toronto)。路上下雨，开车一路小心。
