Those are the conclusions of a survey conducted for the dating website Match.com by Zoomerang, an online polling and survey site. The online survey of 1,068 single Canadians found that 62 per cent of Android users said they’ve had sex on the first date, compared to 57 per cent of iPhone users and 48 per cent of BlackBerry fans.

Android fans are also most likely to have a one-night stand (55 per cent) and be more active on dating websites. In all, 72 per cent of Android users had visited an online dating site, compared to 58 per cent of iPhone users and 50 per cent of BlackBerry users.

iPhone addicts are office romantics. Nearly 25 per cent of single iPhone owners have had an office romance in the last five years, and they are mostly likely to wait just one day to call after a date. Android or Blackberry users will wait until after two or three dates.
