They carried guns and received special danger pay. They performed a variety ot support missions, including flying helicopters and serving in crews of U.S. Air-borne Warning and Control System airplanes, used to direct warplanes on bombing runs. A Canadian army major-gerneral is in Baghdad at present as the deputy commander of the Muti-National Corps.
