Attention BC - You Are Invited!
Townhall Week in BC
May 9-10, 2024
Dear BC Residents,
Thank you for filling in an HPOA/Bill36 postcard.
This is a special invitation for YOU to learn more about the current status of HPOA/Bill36 in BC in 2 exciting BCTownhalls.
Tonights Townhall is hosted by Comox Valley locals and tomorrow Nanaimo is hosting one.
A local BC Physician will be speak on Bill36/HPOA at these 2 Townhalls.
The Townhalls are both in person and online and they include details about 4 other BC Bills that will also affect you, your family, and everyone in BC.
The in person and online attendance to these Townhalls has been incredible, as this information is educational, eye opening, and empowering. The response to these Townhalls is appreciation for having this information explained, as most people are not aware of what these Bills are about.
We hope you can join us! Even if you are not from the community specifically, as these affect all of us in BC. All details are below. We look forward to seeing you there!
Specifically for all Health Professionals seeing this invitation, as well as others, to please share with Health Professionals that you know, as communities are looking for Health Professionals to join as speakers at their Townhalls. Watch tonight, get inspired, and see how it is done.
NOTE: In lieu of our regular HPOA Health Professionals call every 2nd Thursday at 7pm PST, we have decided to offer you the opportunity to watch a livestream (or replay) of the BC Townhalls. One of the main topics for discussion will be Bill 36 - HPOA.
All HPOA postcards need to be completed and mailed by May 13th, in order to be presented by May 16th in the BC Legislature. So, if you have a postcard, please fill it out and mail it in today!
